Information

Appointments

We operate an appointment system for consultations and try to ensure that patients can obtain an appointment with the GP of their choice  and the  surgery which is most convenient for them.

Appointments are for ten minutes and patients are encouraged to arrive in good time.

If you are unable to attend please contact the Practice at the earliest opportunity.

In both surgeries the consultation and treatment rooms are situated on the ground floor and there is suitable access for disabled people.

Emergency Appointments

If you require an emergency appointment and the clinics are fully booked, please contact the Practice.

Out of Hours

Outside Practice opening hours, please contact Dalriada on: 028 2566 3500.

Repeat Prescriptions

The local pharmacists provide a service whereby they collect the prescriptions from the Surgery and the patient may go directly to the pharmacy of their choice to collect their medication.

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by contacting your Surgery or using the ‘Online Services’ link.
Where possible repeat scripts should be ordered at least 48 hours in advance.

Home Visits

We provide home visits for patients who cannot attend the Surgery because of severe illness or disability. They should be requested before 10.00am where possible.  Please note that difficulties with transport or childcare arrangements are not legitimate reasons for requesting home visits.

Please try to attend the surgery if at all possible, as this enables us to carry out  investigations where needed promptly.

Telephone Consultations

Patients who require urgent contact with a GP should contact the Practice.  Patients wishing to speak to a specific GP will be advised by the receptionists when they will be able to take your call.

Test Results

Please phone for results i.e. blood tests etc between 10.30am and 1.00pm.
